Yuri has focused his practice on oil and gas projects for over 25 years and is a recognised expert in energy and natural resources, insurance, corporate law and joint ventures structuring. He has unique experience in negotiating production sharing agreements for foreign investors in various jurisdictions, including Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Algeria and Russia.
Yuri participated in structuring and implementing a variety of large-scale exploration and production projects, both onshore and offshore, as well as on the continental shelf.
From 2016 Yuri provides full scale support to energy projects in Uzbekistan, representing investors in PSA negotiations and assists lenders and creditors in raising project financing of gas projects.
Yuri advises on EPC construction contracts and regularly represents both owners and contractors in high-scale infrastructure transactions.
His clients vary from major financial institutions, prime oil and gas companies to corporate and private investors.
